Kindermusik®

Because so much of your child's cognitive, sensory, and physical development occurs by age 7, Kindermusik® includes a three-stage curriculum that complements your child's own timetable for learning. Since each age and stage provides unique learning opportunities, there are no prerequisites.

Kindermusik® Beginnings brings the joy of music and movement into the lives of children 18 months to 3 1/2 years of age. Eight to 12 children, each with a parent or caregiver present, meet weekly for a 30-minute class of singing, chanting, moving, listening, and playing simple instruments.

Growing With Kindermusik® is for children ages 3 1/2 to 5 years, a crucial period when your child moves from being receptive to being more expressive in his/her learning. This class targets motor coordination, spatial awareness, problem solving and social interaction. Class activities also focus on language, conversation, and singing skills.

Kindermusik® for the Young Child broadens and deepens the music experience for children ages 4 through 7 with four sequential semesters of activity. Meeting each week, 8-12 students explore many facets of the musical experience-speaking and singing, moving, listening, creating and playing percussion instruments, and learning about writing and reading music.
